Tui Hauora Service

Tui Hauora is a primary mental health service, aimed to significantly increase access for Tangata motuhake and whānau with mild to moderate mental health needs. The service provides “walk along support” to assist Tangata motuhake to manage challenges that adversely affect a person’s wellbeing. Our Aitutaki seeks to inspire hope, encourage motivation, share information for Tangata motuhake and whānau to become active participants in their own health and wellbeing.

Our Kaitautoko work with General Practitioners, general practices, PHO’s, and social services to introduce Tangata motuhake and whānau into NGO services, general health services, social services, tenancy services and other relevant services to meet the persons need.

The Service is open from 8.30am until 5pm Monday to Friday (closed public holidays and weekends). Referrals are accepted from your doctor or your medical Center Health Improvement Practitioner. Self and whānau referrals are accepted.
