Kereru Hauora Service

Kereru Hauora service is an enhanced Primary and Community Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Counselling and support service targeted to Māori and Pacific although anyone can access the Service. The service supports early intervention for rangatahi and adult Tangata motuhake presenting with harmful or hazardous substance use, who have not previously sought support for their substance use.

Our Service links closely with other existing services to reduce overlap and ensure that a seamless, integrated approach is provided. One-to-one counselling is provided by a counsellor with other group work.

The Service is open from 8.30am until 5pm Monday to Friday (closed public holidays and weekends). Referrals are accepted from your doctor or your medical center Health Improvement Practitioner. Self and whānau referrals are accepted.
